Often we (regular people) get the impression that to have a good landscape is a long expensive process.    We are lead to believe that those with great landscapes spent oodles of money to get it.   Sometimes they are right on with their thinking since it is true that if you were to hire Landscapes specialist, it will not be cheap.   It is often very expensive as a matter of fact.  There is an alternative for the little guy like you and I.  First: Begin by deciding on the look you want and the amount of time you plan on investing on a monthly, weekly or daily basis. Knowing this will help in the direction you want to go as far how much money and time you want to invest and how much time you want to invest. Here is a good tip that could provide the look of an expensive landscape design.

- Go to your local garden shop… Lowes, Home Depot or a garden center near you;  look for evergreen perennials called Boxwoods.  Recently I purchased 50 of these plants and placed them approximately 3 feet apart along my driveway and around my flower beds. Theyimmediately increased my curb appeal and therefore the value of my property.
